What is Shamanic Kink?
We are honored to be wisdom keepers of the living lineages of Shamanic Kink and Sacred BDSM.
Many Earth-based and ancient cultures have and had ritual practices which could very well be called kinky according to today's definition. Yet today, BDSM is still a taboo. At its Polynesian root, the word taboo means ‘something sacred of great power, restricted to the ones who are not devoted; an oath’.
We value the power this work has offered humanity for centuries, and wish for the potent template of transformational BDSM to find its way back into the world, in alignment with the principles of integrity, sacredness, empowerment and healing.
Shamanic Kink is a deeply transformative and healing practice, where the tools, toys and techniques of BDSM are used in an intentional and ceremonial way. Through creating a solid, loving framework for our kinks to be met with power, curiosity and care, we can access our most powerful expressions of life force, along with healing, pleasure and purpose. This work can be life-changing.
Who Are We?
Priestess Francesca & PriestX Terra combine over 30 years in ritual & shamanism, and 16 years in conscious BDSM, sacred sexuality and intimacy work. They had individually been exploring the BDSM realm for a number of years before they were brought together to create the Shamanic Kink Immersion. This cutting edge body of work combines their many individual learnings with a shared passion for ritual and transformational work, synthesized into a workable method to support safer, intentional BDSM scene play.
From the Shamanic Kink Immersion sprouted the Shamanic Kink Certification Program. This 6-month intensive training takes the experiences and tools from the Immersion and up levels them into a multidisciplinary template supporting students in bringing forth their own unique magic as trained Therapeutic BDSM practitioners, teachers in the field of conscious kink and transformation, and integrative community builders.

Francesca Gentille
Francesca Gentille is a Certified Clinical Sexolgist, Relationship Counselor, Radio Host, award winning author, and expert in the use of BDSM and Tantra as therapeutic modalities. Priestess Francesca has been leading group ritual in Temples of Love, Sacred Eros, Sensual Healing, Divine Connection, Ritual Theatre, Tantric Kink, the Sacred Primal, the Hidden Self, and Healing for over 30 years.
Francesca began Priestess training in 1985, the same year that she entered the Church of All Worlds community meeting Oberon and Morning Glory at the sacred land of Annwfn. In addition to being ordained through the Church of All Worlds, she is an ordained Isian Priestess, initiated daughter of Yemanja, initiated Mystoi of the Eleusinian Mysteries, 3rd Degree Priestess of Love & Eros, initiated Ishtarian Priestess, an initiated Priestess of Persephone, and certified in the One Spirit Cacao Lineage.
In San Francisco, she co-leads The Temple of Shadows; Sacred BDSM Temple. She is the founder of The Sacred Courtesan School of Mystery and Power. Contributing author to "Pop Goes the Witch", "The Marriage of Sex & Spirit" and "Creating Circles and Ceremonies", as well as quoted expert in "Rites of Pleasure."

Shadi Terra
Shadi Terra is a Shamanic Kink teacher and practitioner, sex & relationship educator, and an inspired transformational ritual facilitator. They support humans of all gender identities, ethnicities and sexual orientations to stand in their power, and own the unique gifts they have.
Terra has explored and trained extensively in the fields of shamanism, sacred sexuality, conscious kink, nonviolent communication and ritual over the past 12 years. They have also worked with ceremonial Cacao as an ally for spiritual and emotional processing for the past 10, taught by Keith Wilson. Terra is a faculty apprentice at the International School of Temple Arts, and has studied with ISTA since 2016.
Terra studied Mayan cosmology extensively with Tzutujil elder Francisco Puac, and they are a devotional song and shamanic voice channel.
Shadi identifies as gender nonconforming, and their sexual expression is mostly dominant and ecosexual. They are deep into conscious, shamanic and therapeutic BDSM as an erotic and healing art form, and feel passionate about supporting others to experience the transformation and pleasure available in these realms.

Certified Practitioners
Alex Akarta
Alex Akarta is a trauma-informed, transformational kink practitioner, certified through the Integrative Arts Institute. They hold a BFA in psychology from New York University.
They have held numerous events, workshops, and rituals as an independent facilitator, co-organizer of Decent Exposure, a wellness-focused naturist organization, and as an admin and local event organizer for an International School of Temple Arts (ISTA) graduate community. They are rooted in Tantric traditions, sacred- and ecosexuality, as well as esoteric and nondualist metaphysical traditions.
Blending clinical therapy with shamanic practices, sacred eros, and somatic sexology, Alex specializes in themes including:

• Healthy relationship with the body
• Inner aspect & shamanic journeying
• Erotic reclamation & soul retrieval
Alex is informed by their personal healing journey as a survivor of past trauma and abuse, and places a great deal of emphasis on generating safety and nervous system regulation. They identify as non-binary (agender) and welcome all gender expressions and identities to do powerful healing work in a safer, compassionately-held container, while offering a gentle push into vulnerable realms to support one's growth edges.
Kelly Klein
Kelly Klein, PhD, is a Transformational Kink Practitioner, somatic intimacy and relationship coach, filmmaker, dancer, and sacred sexuality educator.
As a leader of the erotic revolution, her mission is to facilitate humanity’s liberation in harmony with the Earth and to encourage embodied knowing of our inherent divinity and interconnectedness. Having spent her life intimately investigating the body, relationships, community, sexuality, and sensuality, she celebrates the full range of sexual desires with compassion and curiosity. Her work begins with the belief that our connection to our bodies and one another reflects and impacts our connection to the earth, and she seeks to help humanity find greater harmony in these relations.
She brings embodied knowledge as a dancer, anatomical and spiritual knowledge as a yoga instructor, and emotional and sensual wisdom as a sacred sexuality practitioner and intimacy and relationship coach. She holds a PhD from The Ohio State University, is certified with The Integrative Arts Institute, and has trained with the Somatica Institute and the International School of Temple Arts.
